Helping graduates make the jump from education to work. Player Two is for final-year students and recent graduates who don't have someone in their corner yet. We help you find your first graduate job, and keep it.
Who it's for
Talent is everywhere. Connections aren't.
Player Two is for final-year students and recent graduates, usually within two years of graduating, who are the first in their family to go to university, or who don't have family or professional connections to lean on. Graduated a little longer ago and still trying to land your first graduate job? Apply too.
Any university. Any degree. No grade bar. If you're doing this on your own, this is for you.
How it works
Four parts, one goal: your first graduate job.
Ask
Hands-on group sessions with people who hire, and experts on things like using AI in your job search.
Guide
A mentor in your corner: an experienced professional who stays with you through the search.
Connect
A networking event at a real company, where you meet hiring managers and practise for real.
And when you land the job, we don't disappear. Your mentor stays with you through your first 90 days, because that's where a lot of people quietly come unstuck.
Why I'm doing this
Someone backed me. Now it's my turn.
I spent thirty years in corporate, the last ten leading global teams at Google and YouTube. I was involved in a lot of hiring decisions, and one thing never sat right with me.
The graduates who got through often had someone who'd shown them how it works: a parent, a family friend, an introduction at the right moment. Plenty of brilliant people never got that.
Player Two is my way of being that person for the graduates who don't have one yet. You're player one. We just join your game.

Our first cohort starts in April 2027 and is open to graduates anywhere in the UK. Most of it happens online, with a networking event at a host employer. Applications open on 1 December and close in mid-March.
